Dr. Sridhar K. Iyer MD, FCCP, FAASM

Dr. Iyer did his Medical Schooling in the prestigious Medical School J.I.P.M.E.R. in Pondicherry, India. After coming to the United States he did a year of internship at Detroit Macomb Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed residency in Internal Medicine in Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, a WV University affiliate. Following Internal Medicine residency, he completed 3 years of fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical care Medicine at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He has more than 15 years of experience in practicing Pulmonary, Sleep, and Critical Care Medicine.

He practiced in Carbondale, Illinois for 5 Years before moving to Elyria, Ohio where he practiced for over 10 years. Dr. Iyer is well versed in taking care of critically ill patients in the hospital. He is proficient in procedures like Bronchoscopy, Thoracentesis, Chest Tube Insertions and various other ICU procedures. Dr. Iyer is Board certified in Sleep Medicine and has read approximately 700 sleep studies.
Dr. Iyer has started a solo practice in Denton, Texas to take care of patients with lung disease and sleep problems. His practice is limited to patients 16 years of age and older.
